2005 PSSA Scores

The PSSA results for 2005 are reported bellow for each grade tested. In addition to an overall score, results have been broken down to show how economic disadvantage may be impacting student test scores within our district.

Economic disadvantage is a prime predictor of performance on standardized tests. As Dr. Walter R. Tschinkel of Florida State University reports, poverty needs to be addressed as a factor before an accurate assessment of school performance can take place.

Of the 501 school districts in Pennsylvania, there are 102 poorer than Penns Manor.

Poverty impacts us, it does not define us!
