Certified Music Teacher – Instrumental; Junior High General Music

The Penns Manor Area School District is seeking a highly qualified, student‑centered
Certified Music Teacher to join our instructional team beginning August 1, 2026. This
full‑time position includes responsibility for instrumental music instruction as well as
junior high general music courses.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will:
● Teach and develop instrumental music programs for students in grades 4-12
● Knowledge and experience with marching band
● Provide engaging, standards‑aligned junior high general music instruction
● Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment
● Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and program development
● Participate in performances, rehearsals, and related school events

Salary; Benefits

Qualifications
● Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II certification in Music PK–12
● Strong instrumental background
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff

● Prefer applicants with a second certification
