Description
The Junior Class Advisor supports the academic, social, and extracurricular development of the junior class. This role provides leadership, organization, and guidance for class activities, fundraising efforts, and events that prepare students for their senior year. The advisor works closely with students, staff, administration, and families to promote a positive and engaging school experience.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Advise and support the junior class officers in planning and coordinating class activities, meetings, and initiatives.
• Organize and oversee fundraising efforts, ensuring compliance with district policies and financial procedures.
• Assist with planning major class events, such as prom preparation, class trips, or other approved activities.
• Promote student leadership and involvement, encouraging participation and responsible decision-making.
• Collaborate with school administration and staff to schedule events, secure facilities, and coordinate logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of class funds, activities, and communications.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff, providing updates, expectations, and event information.
• Ensure all activities follow district guidelines, safety protocols, and budgetary requirements.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, colleagues, and families.
• Experience advising student groups or coordinating events is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for students.
