Girls' Volleyball Head Varsity Coach

Jr./Sr. High School

The Girls Varsity Volleyball Head Coach is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the high school girls volleyball program. This position plays a key role in fostering athletic excellence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth among student‑athletes while representing the values and expectations of the Penns Manor Area School District.

The successful candidate will

* Plan, organize, and direct all phases of the varsity volleyball program, including practices, competitions, and off‑season activities.

* Teach fundamental and advanced volleyball skills, promote academic success, and support the holistic development of student‑athletes.

* Establish team expectations, maintain discipline, and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.

* Maintain open, professional communication with athletes, families, school administration, and the athletic department.

* Work cooperatively with assistant coaches, athletic trainer, and the Administration to support student‑athlete success.

Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and strategies.

Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor student‑athletes.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Must obtain and maintain all required clearances and PIAA coaching certifications prior to the start of the season.
